removing durachrome top

Okay, so I've removed all of the porcelain panels and the backsplash from the 90C, and I'm trying to get the top off. Do you have to get the range back off first? And do you disconnect the broiler box and thermowell beforehand?

My expierence is with the 61C taking the back off
makes it easier. On the C you do not have to take
the thermowell nor the broiler box off. In fact
it is a lot easier to take the broiler box off
after you have removed the top and turned it upside
down. You do have to remove the gas lines to the
broiler box and thermowell if you have not already
done so.

Beatle,

Make sure that you disconnect the pilot light lines to both the thermowell and the burners too... These lines are easily broken...

Got the manual. Sometimes, it's good to hear the clarification from y'all. Also, there were two screws in the back that I was overlooking. Once I got the back off and the various gas lines unhooked, it was peachy keen and nastily greasy. :-)
